Ways to pay your bill

We offer Online Bill Pay through our Customer Portal. Please click the link below to access the Bill Pay section. There is a convenience fee of 3% or $2.75 whichever is greater to use your credit/debit card for paying your bill or any other transactions. The credit card convenience fee is paid directly to the online merchant company that processes the transactions.

ONLINE BILL PAY LINK ***When setting up your Customer Portal you’ll register as a new user and create a new ONLINE USER ACCOUNT on the ONLINE BILL PAY LINK. You will need to enter (2) zeros in front of your account number and do not use dashes when entering the account number***

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve services to our Customers, Milcrofton Utility District has upgraded our water system with “smart” meters, and we now offer a portal to help you monitor your water usage, offering you direct and secure access to your water usage data.

The customer portal and smartphone apps allow you to review and analyze your water usage patterns. With these tools, you are now able to view your usage activity and gain greater understanding and control of the amount of water you use. You are also able to establish alerts, including identifying potential leaks and abnormal increases in your water usage.

To access your smart meter data and notifications, please log into the Milcrofton bill payment site here: https://milcrofton.epayub.gov/Account/Login and choose the “VIEW DETAILED CONSUMPTION” link under the Usage History chart or click the “Usage Details” tab on the top next to the “Contact Us” tab.

You may call the pay by phone option at anytime by dialing (615) 203-0427. You’ll need your account number and credit card (Discover, MasterCard, or Visa) ready to use the system and a convenience fee of $2.75 or 3% whichever is greater applies to pay for the online merchant services. The system walks you through the steps to complete the transaction by phone.

CAUTION!: If you use on-line banking it can take 7-14 days to reach our office. Only use if online bill pay through your bank if you have sufficient time to get your payment into our office. (Some of the on-line banks, physically cut us a check and mail it to us. They may send it to us 5-6 days after you submit your payment on-line plus mail delivery time.) Don’t let this be the cause of you receiving a late fee or your water being disconnected, please use one of the choices below!

To potentially avoid a late fee when paying a bill please use the full 9 digit zip code when entering online payment information with your bank for faster delivery of your payment. Not using the 9 digit zip code could cause your bank to issue a paper check instead of delivering an electronic payment.

BILL DUE DATE: 1st of each month (Payment must be in our office by 4:00 p.m. on the 1st of each month to avoid a late fee).

ACCEPTED WITH LATE FEE: by the close of business on the 10th of each month.

DISCONNECT FOR NON-PAYMENT: 11th of each month.

If your service is DISCONNECTED FOR NON-PAYMENT we stop taking payments at 7:00 pm on the 11th for the safety of our technicians. We resume taking payments and reconnecting water service at 7:30 am the next business day.

CAUTION!: When paying a bill online please use Milcrofton.gov payment methods from our website only. The use of a nonaffiliated company acting as if they are associated with Milcrofton such as DOXO.com could result in a disconnection. Paying your bill with a service such as DOXO is not going to get your account status instantly updated for our records. They will send us payment that may take up to three weeks for us to receive. We have contacted Tennessee Attorney General Office and the Tennessee Regulatory Authority Office about DOXO’s fraudulent act of representing they collect payments for Milcrofton Utility District. Again making a payment to a third party bill pay such as DOXO will not ensure your water service will stay connected since we have no record of the transaction and no payment being made to your account.***
